What I would like to know is your impression of me as well as my husband. I want to know the good and bad and I want everyone to do it anonymously (I believe you can do this?). I don't want to know who's saying what, because I don't want people to hold back or sugar coat anything for either of us.
I am going to go to counseling for myself. I want to change the things I can change. I want to be a better person for those who have to deal with me, but most of all for my kids. I want to be a good example for them.
So please, please help me see the light.
I will post this to my wall for my friends and Rich will post it for his friends. I'm not interested in being right or better than him, I'm just wanting to know your honest thoughts and opinions of us both.

I think you are human, with issues that others have. Rather than internalize it, I say you need to decide how you want life to go, and make it happen. Rich has a strong personality that can make someone think they are wrong and he is right. You just need the confidence to feel good about your desicions in life. Pray, it will all workout.
ReplyDeleteI don't know rich as well as I do you. You both have faults. We all do. However his are ones that should not be tolerated in marriage. You are a very sweet and caring person. You are a good mom. You give others the benefit of the doubt. You need to regain some self confidence. Once that happens you will be even more amazing. Pray often and pray with your kids.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure of the specific issue(s) but if he has done it many times and there is a chance you will get hurt again. Might be beneficial for both of you to be going to counseling not just you. Also, your children may need to talk to a counselor too.
